Biography:
Geneva Cruz began her career in the Philippines in
1990 as the lead singer of the popular group Smokey
Mountain. She subsequently left the group and pursued
a solo career. Her first album, "I Like You" went
platinum. The album produced several hit singles,
including the title track and Environmental song- Anak
ng Pasig (child of Pasig river) from the movie of the
same title in which Geneva appeared. "Anak Ng Pasig,"
was also chosen as Best Pop Song by the 1992 Catholic
Mass Media Awards and Song of the year at the Awit
Awards.
